Why I Rebranded

This upcoming July will mark the four year anniversary of my blog. While it has continued to grow and evolve over the years, I felt it was time for a change. I began my blog while I was mid-way through college as a place to share what inspires me and give myself something more enjoyable to focus on, rather than a dead-end job (at the time) and school. It ended up being exactly what I needed and evolved into something more enjoyable than I could've ever imagined. After I graduated, got my first apartment, and became a wife - I felt that I needed to give my blog a face-life to fit in with my lifestyle changes (as well as the saturated blogging scene). I've learned to focus on the little (and pretty) things in life such as interior design, DIY projects, new recipes and fashion trends. Blooms and Bows, was great at the time - and a gateway to bigger things. My life includes more than what my blog was intended for, sharing fashion trends and inspiration. Renaming and redesigning to Everyday with Sarah, opens more doors for me down the road and fits my lifestyle better now.
I've done all the rebranding and site design myself, and while it isn't quite complete yet, I wanted to share it anyways. Another main reason I needed to redesign the site, was to move over to a Wordpress platform, versus Blogger. I've been wanting to switch for quite a while, but the process seemed terrifying and tons of work. In case anyone is wondering - it really IS a ton of work, especially if you do it on your own. If I ever need to move my blog to a new platform or server, I will definitely not be doing it myself. Over the next few weeks (hopefully not months), I'll continue to move over all the old content to the new site. In the mean time, you can expect to see all-new content as well!
Please follow along with my new blog, Everyday with Sarah!
Thank you for all my support over the years and I look forward to many more to come!
